into Your kind hands

When you care so deeply for somebody that you find yourself worrying and wakeful and anxiously watching, it’s a huge relief to remember that God is his God (and you’re not).

Father, into Your kind hands I gladly commit -- for his good and for my own good -- this one whom I love.

“Do not fear, for I am with (____). Do not look anxiously about you, for I am (_____’s) God. I will strengthen (him). I will help (him). I will uphold (him). . . .” Isaiah 41:10 (parentheses added)
