Have you ever watched water bugs? They zip around on the surface of lakes, darting one way and then another, like they've got way too many choices and maybe they've had a little too much coffee and they've forgotten how to slow down. Sometimes I wonder if that's how we look, with all our gadgets filling almost every waking minute, and our thoughts darting and zipping all over the place. It's not all bad, unless it gets to be so much of a habit that all we ever do is skim the surface.
